Nowdays world is exposed to multiple global challenges, among which the demographic pressure and the continuous search for more advanced technological solutions stand out. These challenges affect various aspects of daily life, including sidecar for velocipedes. To face these challenges, strengthened with the arrival of my second grandchild, it became necessary to add to my vintage Raleigh single seat sidecar, a new two seats sidecar with more advanced features.

A new high performances sidecar created, using my 1980 Bianchi bicycle. The bike was equipped with a new quick  connect pivoting system and the sidecar body, built with the strip planking technique, clearly kayak inspired, came out to weigh 6 kilos, without the frame and wheel. The two seats are positioned in tandem, where the front one can be easily removed to make the interior more spacious for a single passenger transport.

Road tests have shown that the objectives established in the design phase have been achieved. The quick connect system proved to be very useful for storing the two vehicle components.
